Drop Off & Pick Up

The doors of the Wayne Preparatory Academy are not open to students until 9:00 am. Teachers arrive earlier, but are not available to supervise students until 9:00 am. If school buses arrive early, the bus drivers will keep students on the bus until 9:00 am. Car riders may sit in their cars in the parking lot until 9:00 am.

Students are dismissed from the Wayne Preparatory Academy at 4:10 pm. Students who rode the bus to school are expected to ride the bus home. Morning bus riders will not be allowed to walk home or ride in a vehicle in the afternoon unless a parent or guardian calls the office to make that arrangement. Students will not be allowed to make other arrangements after they have arrived at school; only parents can make other arrangements by calling the school office.

For students that are car riders in the afternoon, they must be picked up from school at 4:10 pm. After 4:20 pm, there will not be a staff member available to provide supervision.
